Letter from CamDo CEO, Todd McCann

With the rise and rise of video we are embarking on a very exciting time! It's about live streaming, more fresh content, discovery and research, training, observation, entertainment and it's all in real time. Coupled with the continued growth of the internet and improvements in camera technology, CamDo is well positioned to achieve our vision of, seamlessly bringing the viewer closer to the source!

As this is the first time we're talking to our wider community, we have to say a big thank you... to you, our customers. Your relentless ideas on how to capture the impossible has been, and will continue to be, the catalyst for our innovation. From controlling cameras on the international space station, to motion detectors in National Parks in Australia, to time lapse in the ice fields of Norway, or to the deep of the Atlantic, and even time slice in Hollywood and sky scrapers in Dubai, it seems your ideas and our products can go anywhere. Thanks to the big guys like Google, NASA, US Army, thanks to the professionals and the prosumers, and thanks to the enthusiasts. We mean it!

The year of 2014 was a transition from the amazing start created by our Founder and still Chief Wizard, Peter Jennings, to the newly formed company. Peter truly is a pioneer of the highest order with a Silicon Valley dance card to prove it. He will continue to mentor the team here at CamDo. Rounding out our board with a wealth of well aligned business experience is the team at GreenAngel. However, the best part about 2014 was growing our team. With big shoes to fill, we've focused on a world class team to target the calibre of Peter, and we've come very close! A company is only as good as it's people, and you'll be impressed by the teams output moving forward.

We've been continuing our focus on GoPro, and working hard at products for the new HERO4 cameras. We're happy to say we already have several products that are compatible with the GoPro HERO4's. These include our Solar System, Under Water WiFi ExtenderBattery Eliminators, DRY Enclosure, Deep Water Housing, LED indicator, USB connected batteries, and our Video Monitor Adapter. We are also currently engineering new Sync Cables and controller products, being our Time Lapse Intervalometer, Programmable Scheduler, and Motion Detectors. We encourage you to join our newsletter to keep up to date on when our Hero 4 compatible products are tested and released. We'll also keep passing on the knowledge with tips and tricks.

This year we'll be asking you more questions to get better results. We'll be developing a whole new product range that we know you'll love... and you'll wonder why it wasn't done before! And to support this range, we're initiating an ecosystem to make it all seamless.

Thanks again for your support, and please do send us your footage... that's what it's all about! -Todd McCann, CamDo Solutions CEO
