Watch: 6-Year Construction Time Lapse of Amazon's Seattle Headquarters

Watch Amazon’s Seattle headquarters six-year construction project in just 40 seconds. This impressive time lapse shows the work done on the SR 99 tunnel project.

The video was released to celebrate a project milestone, as its inching closer towards completion: a section of Sixth Avenue North, long closed to allow for the construction of the tunnel’s north portal and operations building, reopened.

It’s amazing to watch the action unfold, but almost more noticeable in the video is the drastically growing and changing skyline that provides the construction project backdrop. A lot sure has changed in that six year period of time. In a recent visit to Seattle, everyone from friends to Uber drivers noted how much development and change has taken place over recent years. This is visual proof that they weren’t lying!
