The DryX is a weatherproof enclosure designed for extreme outdoor environments. While it is crushproof and dust-tight, it is not designed for full submersion; for underwater projects, we recommend our specialized deep-sea housings.

DryX features an integrated auto-pressure valve that equalizes atmospheric pressure. This, combined with space for internal desiccant packs, significantly reduces the risk of condensation during rapid temperature shifts on construction sites.

Can I use external power or AC power with the DryX?

Yes. The DryX includes a removable 3/4 inch (19mm) plug at the bottom, allowing you to run AC power cables or other external wiring into the housing while maintaining a weatherproof seal.

Does the enclosure ensure the camera stays in the same position?

Yes, the internal aluminum bracket is precision-engineered for a tight fit. This ensures that even if you remove the camera to change an SD card, it returns to the exact same position, preventing any 'jumps' in your long-term time lapse footage.

When should I choose the SolarX enclosure over the DryX?

Choose the SolarX pack for off-grid sites or projects lasting longer than 3 weeks where AC power is unavailable. The SolarX includes a modular solar panel that recharges the internal battery. Use the DryX enclosure if you have access to AC power or for shorter duration projects (2-3 weeks) using only the internal V50 battery.

How does the UpBlink controller help with construction time-lapse?

UpBlink acts as the 'brain' of the system. It saves power by turning the camera off between intervals and enables automated image uploads to CloudX via Wi-Fi or a 4G modem. It allows for custom scheduling (e.g., Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm) to ensure you only capture active construction hours.

Can I monitor the camera status remotely?
