Does DataLens support live video streaming?
No, DataLens is designed for frequent automated image uploads, not continuous live video streaming. Images are captured at scheduled intervals and uploaded immediately to CloudX, where you can monitor progress, track changes, and generate AI-powered insights.
How does DataLens connect to the internet?
DataLens has a built-in cellular modem for direct cloud uploads, no need for external WiFi or hotspots. You cannot connect to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet. If cellular coverage is unavailable, you can store images on the SD card.
What power options are available?
DataLens supports solar power or AC power and has a battery backup.

DataLens is built for construction time lapse and operates reliably in a wide temperature range.
Extreme heat: Up to 140°F (+60°C).
Cold weather: Down to -4°F (-20°C).
Can DataLens be used without a CloudX subscription?
No, a CloudX subscription is required for full functionality. DataLens is designed to work seamlessly with CloudX, which includes the optional AI-powered analytics called Jobsite Intelligence, to improve productivity, safety and remote jobsite monitoring.
