This kit has been born out of the needs of professional and government organisations including Rescue Crews and the Coast Guard and as such is of the highest quality - GoPro image quality, lightweight yet strong carbon fiber telescopic pole, LumeCube lighting system and the robust underwater wifi cable housed in a moulded foam hard enclosure.

    The telescopic carbon fiber pole uses a high quality clamping system with articulating arm to get exactly the length and angle you need, and is stored in its own separate hard cased enclosure.

    Provide your team with the means to safely and remotely inspect assets without entering the water. Using the GoPro app, view a real time video feed of the asset during inspections as well as providing a means of recording the video feed for future use, all in 4K quality.

    How long in the telescopic pole?

    The pole has two telescopic sections connected by an articulating hinge. Fully folded/collapsed, the pole measures 79" long. The longer handle section extends to 262", while the shorter camera side section extends from 41" to 70".

    How do I replace the standard backdoor with the wet end of the Underwater WiFi Extension Cable?

    The standard backdoor of the GoPro Housing can be removed and replaced with the wet end of the Underwater WiFi Extension Cable. If you look at the bottom of the hinge holding the backdoor to the front of the housing, you should notice that it is slotted. The backdoor of the GoPro housing snaps off of the camera housing if you open the backdoor all the way and rotate or pull the backdoor downward. No tools are required. This video shows how to easily unclip the standard backdoor from the GoPro Housing:

    How far can the tablet or phone be from the dry-end antenna?

    It depends on the cable length, orientation of the dry-end antenna, the type of the antenna in the controlling device, and the interference from other signals. It will work for a few feet in most cases, but the closer the better.

    How do I determine the best orientation for the dry-end antenna relative to my phone/tablet?

    There are many apps available that show the WiFi signal strength change when the dry-end antenna moved. We use WiFi Analyzer

    How do I attach the dry end to the monitoring device?

    The dry-end interface can be attached to the back of the phone or tablet using velcro or 3M double sided removable mounting squares.
